• About STC

Shepherds Training College (STC) is a private Christian institution categorized as an Other Degree Awarding Institution (ODAI) accredited by the responsible body in the government of Uganda. STC was founded in 2018 based on the need in East Africa for competent, affordable, biblical, and theologically-sound Christian tertiary education.

In February 2019, STC received its first group of students from a variety of churches and denominational partners.

FAQs

  • To join STC, fill out our application form and return it physically or online. After reviewing your application our admissions team will contact you to schedule an interview.

  • STC spends UGX 1.7M per term to train each student at the certificate level. Presently all of our students are on scholarship and they are only required to pay UGX 50,000 of their fees per term. The remaining 1.65M per term is covered by our generous ministry partners. Students are also required to facilitate their own transportation to and from the STC campus.

  • STC does not currently have a placement program and strongly recommends that students maintain close relationships with their church, union, or organization that sent them to STC in order that, after graduation, they will be received back into a ministry role.

  • Currently, 100% of our certificate students are on a scholarship worth UGX 1.65 million per term. This means that each of our students has 97% of their school fees already paid for them each term. There are no additional scholarships available.
